The Direct Marketing Association is an organisation whose members agree to abide by the DMA's Code of Practice and the British Codes of Advertising and Sales Promotion (BCASP).

Direct Marketing Association (USA)

European Association of Communications Agencies (Belgium)

Consequently the name of the association was, in October 2000, changed to The European Association of Communications Agencies, EACA.

History of Advertising Trust, The (UK)

The Institute of Directors is the leading UK organisation representing individual company directors. The IoD has 47,000 members in the UK, including directors on the boards of three-quarters of the Times Top 1,000 companies, as well as 65 per cent of members who are directors of small and medium-sized enterprises.

Institute of Practitioners in Advertising (UK)
The IPA is the industry body and professional institute for UK advertising agencies. Established in 1917 as a servicing body and to negotiate on behalf of its members with media bodies, government departments and unions.

Institute of Public Relations (UK)
Membership is open to individuals and is based on either a combination of experience and academic qualifications in public relations or on experience only. Anyone working full-time in public relations is eligible to join the Institute in one of various categories, based on experience.
