The IAA UK Chapter, the largest
chapter of worldwide business association, the International
Advertising Association, is for all individuals and organisations
involved in international brand building and communications.

The Institute
of Directors is the leading UK organisation representing
individual company directors. The IoD has 47,000 members
in the UK, including directors on the boards of three-quarters
of the Times Top 1,000 companies, as well as 65 per cent
of members who are directors of small and medium-sized enterprises.

The
IPA is the industry body and professional institute for
UK advertising agencies. Established in 1917 as a servicing
body and to negotiate on behalf of its members with media
bodies, government departments and unions.

Membership is open to individuals
and is based on either a combination of experience and academic
qualifications in public relations or on experience only.
Anyone working full-time in public relations is eligible
to join the Institute in one of various categories, based
on experience.

in 1934, it plays a significant role in promoting the importance
of registering trade marks -- extending the protection offered
by registration and increasing the benefits it brings.
