The name, during
the first 40 plus years of activities, was The European
Association of Advertising Agencies.
It has now expanded the professional fora
to other sectors, in which the association's members are
already active, eg Internet advertising, sales promotion,
direct marketing, sponsorship planning and cause-related
marketing.
Consequently the name of the association
was, in October 2000, changed to The European Association
of Communications Agencies, EACA.
Since 1999 EACA is also the European licensee
of the New York-AMA, holding the European rights of the
advertising effectiveness awards EURO EFFIES. |
